Small Travel Sewing Case sewing pattern from Suzanna's Art House.
These small travel sewing cases are 6"x14" opened / 6" square when closed. The pattern offers 2 different top designs to choose from: 1. button stitchery that looks like a flower garden, 2. a fabric applique of flowers.
Whether you like stitchery or applique this pattern has direction and full-size drawings for both designs.
Includes 6 pages of illustrations and sewing directions. Illustrations of the 3 main stitchery stitches. You can use wool instead of fabric for your flower applique. The inside of the sewing case has 2 pockets that you can make into 4 or more pockets. It has a wool or wool felt area for your needles or pins. and a button closure.
The closure is sewn with elastic cording. All the seams are encased in the binding and seams, with no raw edges. You can embellish it with Rick Rack, lace, or cotton twill.
Fill the pockets with threads, travel scissors, glue stick, and needles and you are ready to take your sewing on the go. It looks cute both closed and opened.
The tops are so pretty you might even want to make a framed piece of art or small pillows.
