Exceed expectations

This project is very detailed, however the directions are excellent. There are check boxes for each step, I would suggest using a pencil or frixon pen to check them so you can reuse the pattern for a second tote. I completed my first one last week and will definitely be making more. The storage capacity is exceptional.

I haven't had the chance to try it yet, but I did read over the directions and they seem to be alright. I just can't wait until I can start on it. I've been looking for a carry-all and this looks like it will fit my needs. I just hope I can do the pattern justice.

Frustrating pettern

This bag is not for the novice sewer. It is very confusing and would benefit from more pics or drawings. I have sewn A LOT for the past 55 years and I gave up on this pattern and threw my project away. It wasn't worth the frustration.
Our responseHi Karen. We're very sorry to learn you experienced so much frustration with this project. I think it's a fair point to want more pictures or drawings in the pattern. I don't see anywhere on the pattern information or images that says the pattern is for a novice sewer, but agree it would be a great idea if the designer included skill level information in her pattern description. Understandably, everybody has different learning styles and preferences. Did you try contacting the designer for clarification on her pattern instructions? Or did you try checking out the pattern designer's youtube channel for assistance with the various techniques she uses? Annie offers a lot of free video tutorials on a wide variety of her techniques.
