Fun design
07/24/2022
This was a fun project to do with my granddaughter. It was her first machine sewing project. She’s 9 so needed lots of instruction along the way from me of course, but she’s very proud of her apron. We added another pocket on the lining side so it’s actually reversible.
She also made the potholder, which needed a few more printed directions, for instance, how to properly apply the bias tape to the potholder. Also making it square would have been an easier choice. We did not do the chenille step, which wasn’t clear to me. Here and there a few clearer directions would have been helpful, but I filled in where needed. All in all it was a great project.
Cute but not a "real" pattern

I was surprised to see that it doesn't include a full-size pattern that could be used as-is out of the envelope. Instead, it includes the measurements, shapes, and cutting instructions. I wouldn't recommend it as a first attempt at sewing, but OK for more experienced people.
Our responseI'm sorry to learn of your disappointment. Our posted description of this pattern has always included the following statement: NOTE: This is a rotary cut project with full instructions for cutting fabric using a rotary cutter (and ruler) with provided measurements, NO paper/tissue/template pattern pieces are provided.
Love this apron set!

This pattern is so very cute and easy to make. I love that you don’t need an actual pattern but that each fabric piece is measured and cut the way quilters cut their pieces! I have made several of all sizes and get nothing but compliments! Thank you!!!

I was making these aprons and lost my pattern. I ordered one and it came quickly. I appreciate the fast response.
