Diagonal Seam Tape from Cluck Cluck Sew More Details
Diagonal Seam Tape from Cluck Cluck Sew is a perfect solution for sewing straight diagonal seams without having to mark any lines. Actually, it's the perfect solution to sewing accurate 1/4 inch seams on virtually any project (they don't need to be diagonal seams!). We've got a great video demo showing you how to use the tape to make 3 basic quilt block units, be sure to scroll down and click the Video section on this page.
What is it and how does it work? It's a special washi tape that is strong, thin, and removes cleanly after sewing projects. Simply place the tape in front of the feed dogs with the red line in front of the needle as the stitch line. The black lines on either side of the center line represent a perfect 1/4" seam allowance and are a great resource to use when making half square triangles, or to help you keep a perfect 1/4" seam on any project (no special feet to fiddle with!).
NOTE: You can leave the tape on your machine for a short while, but it is NOT intended to be left in place permanently. If you leave it on too long, whenever get around to removing the tape you may find the tape leaves a residue that will need to be cleaned off.
Each roll is 10 yards.

I'm teaching a 12yr old girl how to sew and this tape makes it much easier for her to sew straight and keep the seam allowance at 1/4 inch for her quilting blocks. Makes quilting much easier. Wish I had it when I was learning.
I have used this tape and find it a great way to use up batting left from finishing quilting a quilt. It is easy to stitch through and makes much less waste.
Love using on bed of my sewing machines.
