Use fall colors for a fall quilt, blues whites and silver for a frosty winter quilt, or any colors to suit your taste.  Ample negative space is a canvas for elaborate free motion quilted motifs or simple yet effective modern straight line quilting with a walking foot.  Longest leaf tip units are foundation paper pieced.  Different block sizes yield three different quilt sizes with the same layout: 

small throw: 44" x 60"
large throw: 51" x 75"
twin: 64" x 91".
