Sew Thankful is great to work with and folks really bent over backwards to take care of my request. The pattern was perfect for what we needed, which was to make a cape for my daughter in law who was being Ms Ibis from the Bill and Pete story book (her family being Bill, Pete and the Bad Guy) for Halloween She is near 20 weeks pregnant and this was perfect. Plus she learned a lot about sewing and most of it on her own.

I really like the pattern. The only thing I would have to adjust on my next poncho would be the neck opening. It was a little small. I made mine out of fleece and also lined with fleece. I would change the lining to flannel next time because it was kind of heavy but very warm. Love it though!
90 minute poncho

I found this item was great I used this pattern for a rain poncho and it worked out great when wearing a backpack,especially when traveling.

90 Minute Poncho for Adults and Teens sewing pattern from Mary Mulari Designs.
Create a useful, warm poncho from just 2.5 yds of fleece (or water repellent) fabric and when it's not in use, fold and store it in the attached inner pocket. Pattern includes instructions for using fleece or nylon/woven fabric.
In its folded form, the poncho becomes a car pillow or stadium seat cushion. Folding instructions and illustrations included within the pattern.
Options for the poncho include a large hood or cowl collar and a hand warmer pocket.
Make this poncho in school colors for teens or adults. Great for Soccer Moms too.
YES, you really can complete the poncho in 90 minutes. One size pattern printed on sturdy paper.
