Update!!  I received the below email notice/media release last night (Friday, March 1, 2008) through the Fabric Shop Network:

Last fall, a crew from the CBS Sunday Morning national television program visited International Quilt Festival Houston to film and conduct interviews for a report on contemporary quilting in the U.S.

We have received word from the network that-barring breaking news-the segment will air on the show this Sunday morning, March 16.

The segment is expected to feature scenes from the floor and events at Festival, interviews with Festival director Karey Bresenhan and award-winning quilters from the International Quilt Association Judged Show, and a visit to Festival faculty member Ricky Tims' studio in Colorado.

We urge everyone to tune in and enjoy this national exposure for the art of quilting! So set your alarms for CBS Sunday Morning!
