This bag is so styling and great for traveling...wear it cross body and keep your hands free!

Bag design features lots of pockets including one for cell phone, and easy zipper top closure and a 48" long strap that can be made to any length -- make the strap with or without the swivel hook & D ring hardware.

Fat quarter friendly.

Pattern offers full color instructions with pictures.

Finished purse size is 10-1/2" wide x 10" tall x 2" deep.

Confusing Instructions

Love the finished bag. I am a very experienced seamstress, but found the directions extremely confusing and difficult to follow. Am currently making the bag again after six months and it's no easier than the first time. Actually have to walk away and come back later due to frustration. Trying to follow word for word, step by step and they just don't make sense.

Love the pattern

As soon as I got my order, I began making a Barbados Bag for my sister. It turned out beautifully in batiks. I then made a second one, also in batiks, for my other sister. I have one more to make for myself! The directions are great but I wouldn’t recommend them for a beginner.

I have already stitched out this bag. It is very pretty, and a great size. I added some stabelizer to the lining, but otherwise it is a nice pattern and clearly written instructions.
